About Us

Bridlington Pride is a registered charity (charity number 1188098), set on the 20 February 2020. We are a charity whose aim is to bring together and raise awareness of all members of the LGBTQI+ community.

Our charitable objects are to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit and in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity of those living in Bridlington and the surrounding areas in particular but not exclusively by:-

• Delivering an annual Bridlington Pride event, a live music event marketed at the LGBTQI+ community, but inclusive of all. The event will promote community cohesion and will provide an opportunity for organisations proving health and wellbeing services to the LGBTQI+ community to access that audience.
• Deliver at least two other arts and culture events through the calendar year that appeals to a broader spectrum of the LGBTQI+ community.
• Support other initiatives aimed at the LGBTQI+ community.
